Waterside Gymastics Club
Waterside Gymnastics Club provides international level facilities, with a full range of apparatus for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Team Gym and General Gym.
The high standard of equipment and coaching provides opportunities for the most able gymnasts to compete up to and including international level. The club is run by highly qualified coaches together with junior coaches. We are committed to inspiring the next generation of elite coaches at WGC.
Waterside Gymnastics Club offers gymnastics opportunities for children of all ages and abilities, from pre-school children (4 years and over) in the Minis classes through to school age children and teenagers in general gymnastics classes as well as Team Gym, Artistic Squads for more able gymnasts.

Our Philosophy
The Club is dedicated to enjoyment and excellence in gymnastics and aims to provide a safe, effective and child friendly environment in which members can participate in Mini Gym, General Gym, Aerobic Gymnastics, TeamGym and Artistic Gymnastics activities under the guidance of appropriately qualified coaches.
We operate an open philosophy and welcome the support of parents/ guardians. The members of the Club are organised into groups according to their age, gender, ability, experience and individual needs and coaches will be pleased to discuss the training programmes and your child’s needs with you.
We provide a child-centred, coach-led programme and will endeavour to help your child develop to their optimum level of performance. Our coaches are all qualified through British Gymnastics at the appropriate level and have been screened for their suitability to work with children.

Club facilities
The Club is comprehensively equipped for all levels of gymnastics and provides training facilities for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and Team Gym. The Apparatus in the gym is used by all levels of gymnasts from mini and general session gymnasts to international gymnasts, who benefit from access to the highest quality equipment. Both mini and general sessions are structured to introduce and develop skills on the full range of apparatus available. The Apparatus is regularly inspected and replaced where necessary to maintain the highest standards for all the gymnasts by the clubs management committee. We are incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic facility and know how much enjoyment all of our members get from training and coaching within it.
